Made from 4 distinct fiber types, and coming in a light and compact 8 mm diameter, CanyonLux was engineered and built to meet the needs of advanced canyoners.
The blended Technora / polyester sheath provides a perfect balance of water and abrasion resistance and features a unique and highly visible colour pattern.
The revolutionary dual core is made from light and flexible polypropylene surrounded by a layer of massively strong, braided Spectra material. This design keeps the rope small and light, reduces sheath slippage to a bare minimum and provides maximum strength.
The CanyonLux is also braided to be softer and more flexible than most canyoning ropes, making it easier to work with and allowing it to pack down into a more compact space.
All of this makes the CanyonLux among the best handling and most packable canyon ropes currently available.
Note: Skinny abseiling ropes like the CanyonLux can run much faster than traditional canyoning ropes. Always use canyoning-specific descenders that provide variable friction settings with the ability to easily add friction while descending.
